WEISSBURGUNDER RIED TATSCHLER 2023
WEISSBURGUNDER RIED TATSCHLER 2023
Wine of controlled origin, Leithaberg DAC, dry, contains sulphites
The Ried Tatschler, first mentioned in documents in 1570, is one of the best known and best white wine sites in Burgenland. It is a sheltered basin site east of Großhöflein. Due to its southeast orientation, the vines here benefit from the sun early in the morning. The adjacent forest brings cooler air masses in the evening hours and ensures that the freshness and fruit are maintained. The predominant crystalline primary rock with a light layer of lime forms the basis for this powerful and delicately spicy Pinot Blanc.
Light green-yellow, silver reflections. Delicate orange blossom, fine yellow pear fruit, some mango, a hint of nougat, mineral undertone. Firm, tight-knit, cool style, adherent, fine fruit sweetness, nutty aftertaste, very good length, sure development potential, great food accompaniment.
