My great-great-grandparents Johann and Julianna Wagentristl laid the foundation stone for our current winery in 1888.
When she got married, she took over what was then known as "Hof Nr. 135" in Großhöflein. This farm included not only agricultural land but also vineyards. In the decades that followed, the family increasingly devoted themselves to winegrowing, while livestock farming and arable farming took a back seat. And so, over time, "Hof Nr. 135" became today's winery in Rosengasse.

Several generations of my family consistently followed the path of modern, quality-oriented viticulture and developed their own signature style that characterizes our wines to this day.
It was always important to reflect on our history and the wealth of experience associated with it.
