WEISSBURGUNDER RIED TATSCHLER 2020
WEISSBURGUNDER RIED TATSCHLER 2020
Wine of controlled origin, Leithaberg DAC, dry, contains sulphites
The Ried Tatschler, first mentioned in a document as early as 1570, is one of the best-known and best white wine regions in Burgenland. It is a wind-protected basin location east of Großhöflein. Due to the south-east orientation, the vines benefit from the sun early in the morning. The adjacent forest brings cooler air masses in the evening hours and ensures that freshness and fruit are preserved. The predominant crystalline primary rock with a light layer of lime forms the basis for this powerful and delicately spicy Pinot Blanc.
Pale yellow-green, silver reflections. Delicate nuances of yellow stone fruit, a hint of peach and ringlets, subtle caramel and orange zest. Juicy, elegant and light-footed, creamy texture, notes of light nougat on the finish, already easy to drink, versatile. (tasted by Peter Moser, Falstaff)
