Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate ochre rim. Subtle roasted aromas, a hint of blackberries and caramel, notes of black Morello cherries, an inviting bouquet. Juicy, powerful and spicy, well-integrated tannins, mineral finish, somewhat fiery, a substantial food wine. (Tasted by Peter Moser, Falstaff)
