PINOT NOIR KREIDEBERG® 2023
PINOT NOIR KREIDEBERG® 2023
Quality wine, Burgenland, dry, contains sulphites
The Müllendorfer Kreideberg, with its barren limestone soils and cool nights, offers an ideal terroir for a particularly mineral and elegant Pinot Noir.
Strong ruby garnet, ochre reflections, broader lightening at the edge. Black forest berry fruit with a delicate herbal and spicy undertone, tobacco, nuances of dark cherries, mandarin zest. Juicy, red cherries, fresh structure, well-integrated tannins, mineral-salty, chalky touch, lime zest in the aftertaste, lingers, good aging potential. (tasted by Peter Moser, Falstaff)
food accompaniment
food accompaniment
A versatile food pairing for delicate meat dishes or hearty roasted vegetables. Mushroom dishes and smoked ingredients also offer exciting combinations – the wine's subtle fruitiness and chalky minerality blend harmoniously into the interplay of flavors. A particularly good match: roasted duck breast with red wine jus, glazed carrots, and celery root purée.
