WEISSBURGUNDER RIED KREIDESTEIN 2024
WEISSBURGUNDER RIED KREIDESTEIN 2024
Wine of controlled origin, Leithaberg DAC, dry, contains sulphites
The Pinot Blanc from our favorite vineyard in Müllendorf.
With its barren limestone soils and cool nights, the Ried Kreidestein vineyard offers a great terroir for this particularly elegant Pinot Blanc.
Puristic, mineral, and wonderfully silky.

"Pale greenish-yellow with silver highlights. A hint of candied grapefruit zest, delicate yellow tropical fruit, and nuances of Nashi pear. Juicy, elegant, with yellow stone fruit, a finely structured, creamy texture, and a salty-nutty finish. A substantial food wine with a mineral finale and good aging potential." Tasted by Peter Moser for Falstaff

A wine for special moments – especially with grilled fish, roast veal loin, or delicate dishes with herbs and vegetables. Its mineral depth harmonizes particularly well with subtle roasted aromas and creamy textures.
Recipe tip: Roast veal loin pink with celery puree and glazed carrots.
Thanks to its complex, mineral structure, this wine is a wonderful wine for contemplation, meditation and philosophizing – and will bring joy for many years to come.
We recommend a large white wine glass (Burgundy glass).
