CUVÉE HEULICHIN 2022
CUVÉE HEULICHIN 2022
Quality wine, Burgenland, dry, contains sulphites
Our hometown of Großhöflein was first mentioned in a document in 1153. The place name HEULICHIN stands for our top wine today, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate lightening at the edge. Fine blackberry notes, some dark minerality, delicate hints of precious wood, nougat touch, inviting bouquet. Good complexity, juicy, sweet tannin structure, mineral, chocolatey touch, ripe berry confit on the finish, good development potential. (tasted by Peter Moser, Falstaff)

food accompaniment
Excellent with game, lamb or braised beef – robust cuisine underlines the structure of the wine.
Recipe tip: Pink roasted saddle of venison with celery puree and red wine jus.
Serving suggestion: For young vintages, it is best to open or decant them a few hours beforehand and serve in a large red wine glass at 16–18 °C.
