BLAUFRANKISCH RIED POINT 2019
BLAUFRANKISCH RIED POINT 2019
Wine with controlled designation of origin, Leithaberg DAC, dry, contains sulphites
Ried Point is one of the oldest and most valuable locations in the Leitha Mountains. In the pure southern exposure, the grapes for particularly characterful Blaufränkisch ripen on calcareous clay soil.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate ocher rim lightening. Black cherry fruit underlaid with a hint of liquorice, mineral, fine nougat tone. Firm, elegant, fresh berry fruit, well-integrated tannins, salty and persistent, still very youthful, sure potential for aging. (tasted by Peter Moser, Falstaff)
