BLAUFRÄNKISCH 2022
BLAUFRÄNKISCH 2022
Wine with controlled designation of origin, Leithaberg DAC, dry, contains sulphites
This Blaufränkisch embodies the unique terroir of the Leitha Mountains. Its refined fruit and mineral spice make this wine a distinctive ambassador of its origin.
"Crisp cherry and chocolate aromas, vibrant, tightly structured, with a mineral undertone, subtle herbal spice, excellent fruit transparency, plenty of bite, good length, invigorating." - tasted by Uwe Schögl for VINARIA
"The 2022 Blaufränkisch was harvested in sites in Grosshöflein, Kleinhöflein and Müllendorf with a chief portion from 30-year-old vines on heavier soils. It matured in a range of barrel sizes. Juicy plum is immediately vivid on the nose, showing off all its aromatic, dark fruit with just a touch of pepper. Wonderful juiciness is supported by surprisingly fine and detailed tannin structure. The 2022 overdelivers." - tasted by MW Anne Krebiehl for VINOUS
