The Falstaff Wine Guide 2025/26 is one of the most prestigious wine guides in the German-speaking world. With around 3,600 rated wines from over 440 wineries, it offers a comprehensive overview of quality and demonstrates that quality in Austria is currently reaching new heights.
We are particularly pleased that six of our wines have received high ratings – a total of 561 Falstaff points . This is clear confirmation of our terroir and our consistent manual labor.

Weißburgunder Ried Tatschler 2023 – 94 points
Pale yellow-green with silver highlights. Delicate nougat, subtle herbal spice, yellow pear, mineral notes. Juicy, elegant, light-bodied with white stone fruit, delicate citrus zest and a salty finish – already well-developed.
Pinot Blanc Ried Kreidestein 2023 – 93 points
Pale greenish-yellow with silver highlights. Candied grapefruit zest, yellow tropical fruit, and Nashi pear. Juicy, elegant, stone fruit flavors, creamy texture, salty-nutty finish, substantial, mineral, and with aging potential.
Blaufränkisch Ried Kreidestein 2021 – 94 points
Deep carmine garnet with violet reflections. Black forest berries, hints of cherry and cranberry, mandarin zest, and fine minerality. Juicy, powerful, and cool, with a red berry core, mineral texture, and a subtle touch of chocolate. Complex and food-friendly.
Blaufränkisch Ried Reisbühl 2022 – 94 points
Dark ruby garnet with violet reflections. Smoke, blackberries, sea buckthorn, tobacco spice, and mineral notes. Powerful and complex, with black berry fruit, firm tannins, and a fresh, mineral finish – benefits from bottle aging.
Cuvée Heulichin 2022 – 93 points
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections. Blackberry jam, black cherries, herbal spice. Complex, juicy, dark berries, pronounced tannins, mineral, with nougat, a delicately spiced food companion.
Pinot Noir Kreideberg® 2023 – 93 points
Medium carmine garnet with violet reflections. Delicate wood and herbal spice, wild berry jam, and candied mandarin zest. Juicy, elegant, red berry, fresh structure, mineral and saline finish – with aging potential.
